Vice President, Marketing
Shannon is responsible for setting and driving the strategic and tactical execution of campaigns, communications, and marketing initiatives that cultivate brand equity, build market share, and support the organization’s goals and objectives. Shannon is also instrumental in transitioning newly acquired companies into EMCOR Group, Inc’s branding and messaging platforms.
Shannon has over 20 years of experience in marketing strategy, branding, program execution, results tracking, and project and relationship management. She joined EMCOR Facilities Services (EFS) in 2001, where she served initially as marketing manager and then as marketing director. She transitioned to her current role in 2009. As the facilities and building services business expanded and grew to over $2 billion in total revenue, Shannon’s responsibilities grew to direct and support the marketing efforts for EMCOR Building Services, a division of EMCOR Group, Inc.
Prior to joining EMCOR, Shannon held marketing positions at Marc Global Services, a division of TRW, CAIS Internet, and CoStar Group, where she honed her project management, event planning, and strategic marketing skills.
Shannon received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Maryland at College Park. She has also completed leadership development programs with Babson College and the Thayer Leader Development Group (TLDG) at West Point.
As an active contributor in the facilities and real estate industry, Shannon is a member of the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA), CoreNet Global, the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), and Connex (formerly PRSM).
Shannon spends her time outside of work with her friends and family. She enjoys outdoor activities and traveling extensively, and she is an avid golf fan and follower of Maryland’s college and professional sports teams.
