Joe is responsible for the oversight of all facilities and technical infrastructure, as well as management of information technology (IT) implementation and maintenance of current systems for the supplier managed division of EMCOR Facilities Services (EFS).

Joe oversees a 20-person IT department supporting a national IT infrastructure, an extensive user base, and the execution of complex system implementations. He works closely with our developers to maintain and enhance internally developed systems and “off-the-shelf” applications to continuously drive efficiencies throughout internal and external business operations. He manages the deployment and support of our supplier managed division’s entire infrastructure, including: telecommunications, network, hardware, and applications/systems. His role helps to ensure that maximum uptime and stability is met for the firm’s computer systems and networks.

Joe leverages his leadership and competence in technology to successfully manage new training, upgrades, and system changes within our fast-paced environment.


Joe has over 25 years of experience in computer operations, computer programming, and system design. He has assumed various IT-based roles throughout his career, including application support consultant, product consultant, and client services manager.

In 2005, prior to joining USM, an EMCOR Company, Joe was the director of information technology at Infor Global Solutions, where he was responsible for global IT infrastructure. His role included oversight for telecommunications, LAN/WAN, hardware/software deployment and support, web (intranet and extranet), security, business continuance, and disaster recovery. He also initiated several outsourcing/offshore relationships, spearheaded a global telecommunication consolidation, and led the global implementation of an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.

Joe received his Bachelor of Science in operations management from the University of Scranton and his Master of Science in information systems from Pennsylvania State University.
